We always have capers on hand to add to fish dishes, etc, but never knew about caperberries that are an elongated olive size, no pits, but seeds until I tried some on Syros island this summer and now I’m hooked! I was thrilled to be able to find exactly the same caperberries stateside!

These Syros caperberries are absolutely amazing! The jar has a mix of different-sized berries, all pickled to perfection in brine. I’ve had a hard time finding caperberries locally, so this is such a great option. They’re a fantastic addition to any charcuterie board, salads and also elevate meals just like you’d find in fine dining. Definitely ordering again—highly recommended!

Carol explained what these are–regular capers are the buds of the caper flowers and picked before they start opening. These are the fruit of the caper plant that come out from the caper flower. They are packed with flavor and delicious! I think I might like them more than the regular capers!

These little pickles are wonderful and crisp, reminiscent of cornichons but tastier.
