A Journey That Began With Passion
EVGE began with John Papageorgiou, an olive oil expert and sommelier, and his wife, Rania. Their journey took them across Greece in search of oils that reflected the land itself — pure, honest, and deeply flavorful.
They discovered it in the groves of Messenia, just outside of Kalamata. There, on slopes more than 1,000 feet above sea level and only 12 kilometers from the sea, they found trees nourished by mountain air and coastal breezes. The olives ripen slowly and evenly, developing character that no blend or industrial oil can replicate.
